Every story hangs on the characters that fill it. They are the levers by which the narrative can progress as, without them, usually nothing of note will happen. As this is going to be a game focused largely on its story, the characters are therefore key.
So, let's introduce the crew.
The Player
Formerly of the Argon Navy, and now a civilian merchant captain, the Player commands a Mercury-class freighter out of Argon Prime.
Kade Renner

An Argon Navy veteran like his childhood friend, Kade is the crew's steady hand and often a calming influence when things get heated.
Letaseos Yayasisos Neserosius IX "Leta"
Known to the crew as Leta, Letaseos Yayasisos Neserosius IX joined the crew to broaden her knowledge of the universe. Her seemingly endless optimism solves problems where her skills lack.
Elriya "El" Maclan
El is the ace pilot. Not only can she fly the ship places that nobody else can, in ways nobody else can, sometimes she even means to do it!
Emoro Ti

Emoro Ti joined the crew as a hitchhiker, but stayed on to help the crew when they need her. She is medic, counsellor, and general busy-body around the ship.
Ilona Rael

Cynical and sharp-witted, Ilona's former Terran intelligence work helps the crew get out of, and into, tough situations.
Torr t'Vnk

A former pirate, Torr provides necessary muscle when it is needed and is often considered to be as blunt as a a hammer, but in some conflicts, a hammer is exactly what you need.
